Lucille Apartments
Residential
The Lucille, a 100-unit multifamily building in Seattle, prioritizes community by reimagining the traditional lobby. Instead of maximizing retail, it carves out “The Nook”—an open-air, alleyway-inspired space with a fireplace, banquettes, a lending library, and direct access to a coffee shop. More than a lobby, it fosters connection and a seamless transition from public to private space. Above, a rooftop garden oasis offers a boutique hotel-like retreat with a semi-permanent tent and sweeping city views. The design blends Modern Pacific Northwest aesthetics with a spirit of adventure, proving that multifamily living can be both inviting and exceptional.
